Hello All, A friend of mine gave me an old broken 6’0 ice fishing saw, and I was curious if anyone with a little more knowledge could tell me what type of steel I’m working with. Whether if is mild or high carbon, I can use it either way, but Id rather not use good metal on something more mundane. Im fairly certain the saw is fairly old, at least 70, most likely over 100.
