Hi. I’m a Narcoleptic ‘scrap’ metal artist working professionally for the last 19 years. I have always been obsessed with reusing stuff (not toilet paper though) and after some years trying to live a ‘normal’ life, I got fed up and here I am.
I’ve used some blacksmithing techniques in creating sculptures, but since I have moved to Norway, I have started setting myself up for more. As they say in Game of Thrones…, I’ve taken the black… (but kept my wife).
I have been busy building my workshop 9mx12m & 7m high (30’x36’ & 23’ high) with logs and 2nd hand roof plates, for the last three years with very little funds. Not being able to finish the workshop faster, I have built a smaller shop (shack), a railway-track-anvil and a water-cooled-sand-forge from recycled materials.
I am about to build a wheel-hammer using as many scrapped materials as possible, and I might just have everything… and then an Induction Forge.
I’ve joined this forum only because I know, I have a lot to learn!
