Good evening and thank you for any help. I have always wanted to learn how to blacksmith but there are none near me that I can learn from, nor any colleges close by that have a class.
Anyway, I fell in love with the TV show “Forged in Fire” and I want to get my brother a cable damascus hand forged knife for Christmas. Do any of you know a blacksmith online that makes and sells these? I have seen some but the reviews are that the knives are bad quality… I don’t want a super knife, but a knife that can be used in the woods for years without breaking would be ideal.
