Hi all,
My name is Dan and I am from Manchester in England. I got started in smithing really as a hobby making knives, firstly for myself and then a few which I made and sold. I now focus more on artistic smithing as well as weaponsmithing for a local viking reenactment group. I have been smithing on and off now for about 7 years but have recently returned to it again after an absence.
My proudest project so far was restoring my grandfathers machete which he used and brought back from Burma where he was serving in world war 2.
