I drove several hours to purchase a new anvil from Texas Ferrier Supply. Great anvil! 550 is what I paid. Great customer service,I will buy again!

That’s what I thought! Next year I’ll get a 200 pounder. I made lots of practice pieces with regular steel. Can not harden it much, but it’s cheaper then buying good steel to mess around with.

I built this one with an railroad track. Turned it upside down, welded a steel plate so it can sit upside down. Worked very well. But there’s nothing like a real anvil!
