Guys I am a full time knifemaker in the Barossa VAlley in South Australia a, I’ve just had the good fortune to buy a 1903 Hawkeye power hammer from Cedar Rapids (was built there)
I’d like to find out some history about the company , were they good hammers , what poundage (as in hitting power ) some say they were the holy grail of hammers but I love it it’s a beauty and I intend to start using it next week and as soon as I work out how I shall post a couple of pics
